I would be lying if I say I am now just starting to crush for emerald. It’s such a classic color that I have been in love with it for a very long time. I finally cooled down on my crazy search for emerald earrings when I found these from ASOS. I also did a inspiration styling of a similar emerald dress a while back here. The crushing continues so I am sharing with you some of the emerald pieces I love. Also want this polka dot skirt!
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Got this Dannijo necklace with a Saks gift card I received as a Christmas gift, I guess you can say it’s a gift 🙂 I have always admired Dannijo’s statement necklace from afar but was thrilled to find this one on sale. When I saw it, I thought the colors and the beads were afrocentric which is what drew me to it. I was happy to find out it was made in Africa after reading the details. I have to say that my guy was shaking is head when I got out of the house for our Sunday brunch wearing these prints. He was like, “It’s not matching!”. I don’t know, what it is with guys and prints? They don’t like them at all! How does your man respond to prints?

Ever since I saw this picture from the Harpers Bazaar Spring 2013, I have been looking for a blank canvas bold striped top or bottom to use for prints and stripe mixing. I think this bold stripe skirt (which comes in two colors) would be perfect for that. It’s also two trends in one; bold stripes and full midi skirt. I still haven’t deciced whether to go for the coral and pink or black and white. Which one do you like?
On a different note, is this one model wearing these skirts or two different models? They do look similar. Have a great weekend guys and thank you for reading!
