I have been loving the crop top and skirt trend that I am seeing around the Fashion world. I really wanted to try it but couldn’t find the right kind of crop top, you know the one with maximum coverage; I am too old to be baring my midriff. I found the one, in this chunky stripe crop top. It’s also long sleeved which is perfect for Spring transition. I like pairing prints with bold colors so I paired the top with a green skirt from Topshop that has been on my wishlist for a while. I am also loving the Lucite clutches which I think adds a little bit of edge to this look. The red cutout booties, bold red lips and a link bracelet complete the look. I also think these red Celine like wedges can also be a great shoe alternative for this look.
Greetings from the bustling city of New Orleans. Wore this look to a work conference I am currently attending. Hope you are all having a great week!

J-Crew flats (old)
My go to shoes for casual is almost always flats. Whenever I compare flats to heels I think of George Costanza’s statement, “Why sit when you can stand?” (Love him!). Flats are undeniably more comfortable than high heels and fashion houses have been focusing more on them, making great stylish designs. The problem that I have is; I wear flats more than heels but I have more heels than flats, ha! I usually have 1 pair of flats that I wear repeatedly, running them to the ground. I realize my problem so I am gradually adding more flats to my closet. I am currently watching these stylish Christian Louboutin flats and these white ballet flats. These ASOS ones are also cute, perfect colors for Spring.
Aren’t these floral jeans amazing? I love the subtle hints of yellow neon on them. They have been on my shopping list for a while and I finally pulled the trigger. Can’t wait for wear them. In the meantime, I am dreaming up of some of the ways I would style them. Hope you like?
