Color Play: Maxi Skirt and Blazer

I am curious as to what your take is on wearing intimate bodysuits as part of an outfit in a non intimate way. I am ok with wearing one as long as it’s covered by a shirt, blouse or cardigan and leaves just enough for curiosity outside. I got this top from lace bodysuit H&M a while back. I am also loving the lace up bodysuit. Here is one from H&M that is long sleeved and a similar sleeveless version here from Urban outfits. Urban Outfitters bodysuits have the best quality bodysuits I have seen when compared to others of similar prices. Also loving this cobalt Vottega Venetta ayers satin knot clutch. Instant classic. Continuing on my four colors in an outfit trend (see last post). Fashion is about taking risks. That’s what makes it fun and thrilling. At least for me. Thank you for reading!

Peekaboo: Red and Cream Combo

I always love a good red and cream (off white) combo outfit. The colors have an amazing contrast with each other. I am wearing a Donna Karan cashmere tube maxi skirt and a Donna Karan peekaboo top. For a moment right I after I gave birth, I was so obsessed with everything Donna Karan. I think it was because her clothes are made of stretchy jersey material which worked well with my post baby body since I had gained some curves.  The obsession has since died down since I found that some of her clothing items, although beautifully designed were so so in quality. I always like throwing an unexpected color to my main outfit and this olive green coat adds that factor. A lot of people always ask, how many colors can you wear in one outfit. I would say go for as much colors as you can as long as they work well together.
Can you tell it was a windy day? Arrrggg wind and hair, they don’t mix.
Happy Monday!!

Pop of Red

I decided to splurge on this camel coat during the holiday season. It was a Christmas gift from me to me. I have always wanted to purchase a good camel coat and I think this one is it. I love it; it’s so versatile and goes with almost everything in my closet. Whenever I wear any outfit I always want an item or 2 to give it a pop of color and this burberry animal print scarf ties the whole look together. Hope you are all having a great Monday.
