I have had this Chanel like tweed jacket with pearls for many years (first seen here). It’s an old faithful and has given me so many good wears. I always like to pair it with bright color bottoms because of how neutral the undertones in it are. I am also wearing a Stella McCartney skirt which I scored from Ebay. The skirt and the jacket that I am wearing are old, you can still create a similar look to the one I am wearing with this jacket and this skirt (well priced). I love love this Rebecca Taylor Tweed Embroidered Fringe Jacket. I love the tiered fringe details and arrows on it. I am wearing the Stuart Weitzman Highland over the knee boots but you can also complete the look with these chic grey over the knee boots (on sale for $41). I can’t speak on their quality but they do look beautiful. I am not sure if this specific look I am wearing would be work appropriate because of the high slits on the skirt. I am also on the fence about wearing thigh high boots to work. What do you guys think about wearing the over the knee boots to work? Are they work appropriate?

  1. Love everything about this look! If it were up to me, I’d say this look is very office appropriate because there no skin showing and the neckline is appropriate. However, I agree about the thigh-high boots and the slits on the skirt. Though they cover the skin, I wouldn’t risk wearing either to the office. I guess it’s the stigma?
