Lookbook: Chunky Sweater over Maxi

October 16, 2011

One way to bring my summer maxis out for Fall is to add chunky knits over them. Of course as the weather gets colder you can add tights underneath the skirt and wear with stacked boots. This floral number is actually a dress I bought many years ago from Bebe. It had just been sitting in my closet until I found this Zara burgundy chunky sweater. The weather is still warm enough to afford me to wear my espadrilles with this look:).

What I am Wearing:

Dress worn as skirt: Bebe, Sweater: Zara, Earrings: Vintage
Bag: J-Crew Galaxy Purse, Sunnies: Urban Outfitters
Watch: Michael Kors, Ring: Forever 21

  5. What a good idea to bring maxi dresses/skirts into autumn! It’s still kind of warm where I live, but there’s definitely a chill in the air too. I have a feeling a similar sweater/skirt combination is in my near future. =)
