I can safely say color is coming back into my life! After I had my daughter, I gained some weight and I had to buy new clothes that fit my new curves. The strangest thing is everything I got was neutral, for a while I couldn’t stand color. Can any mamas out there relate or it’s just me?
Well I am back in love it and starting off with this Juan Carlos midi skirt. I scored it when it was on sale at Net A Porter. One of the ways I love styling bright colored skirts is with clean white tops. You can never go wrong with that. A bright colored bottom always plays well with a white top. I usually prefer that the top be tucked in for a more structured look. The turtleneck is the Wolford colorado string bodysuit. To finish off the the look I went for a neutral Max mara camel coat and neutral strappy heels. I think lace up booties would have being a good pairing as well. Will try that next time.
Details of this outfit are listed below. One doesn’t need this specific or similar items to recreate this look. Any bright skirt, white top, neutral coat and heels would work just as well. It’s always good though to have a white turtleneck and a black one in your closet. They are always basic classic. I love this one and this, both under $30. Enjoy the Fashion play!
